2004:
Mostostal Siedlce and Polimex-Cekop merge, creating Polimex-Mostostal Siedlce
S.A.
2005:
creation of road and railroad construction divission;
2006:
company's name change to: Polimex-Mostostal S.A.
Mostostal Siedlce History
1970: Mostostal Siedlce commences its operations;
1975: the manufacture of steel structures starts at Mostostal Siedlce;
1977: the manufacture of platform gratings is launched and a zinc coating plant is opened;
1982: the first installation of steel structures is undertaken;
1993: the company is privatized, from now on known as Mostostal Siedlce S.A;
1997: Mostostal Siedlce debuts on the Warsaw Stock Exchange;
1999: Polimex-Cekop acquires a majority shareholding in Mostostal Siedlce.
Polimex-Cekop
History
1945: the Polish Association of Machinery Export-Import Co Ltd... (Polskie Towarzystwo Exportowo-Importowe Maszyn i Urządzeń) is established, (main goal of Polimex’s first operations: post-war reconstruction of the Polish industry) ;
1954: the Export Centre of Complete Industrial Projects (Centrala Eksportu Kompletnych Obiektów Przemysłowych) is established, called Cekop;
1959: Polimex adopts the name Polimex – Polish Machinery Export & Import Society Co. Ltd. (Polskie Towarzystwo Exportu i Importu Maszyn sp. z o.o.);
1971: the two companies merge, named, from now on, the Polimex-Cekop Company;
1995: Polimex-Cekop is registered as a joint-stock company;
1997: the privatisation of Polimex-Cekop is undertaken.
